By accessing https://nameoffortune.com/ (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

1. Description of Service

Name Of Fortune is a free, browser-based Wheel of Names. You add names, spin, and it picks randomly using crypto-secure randomness. No account needed. We provide it as-is for entertainment, education, and small giveaways.

2. No Warranty

We work hard to make the wheel fair and fast, but we provide it without warranty. We don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific needs. Use at your own risk. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages from using the Service.

3. Fairness

We use crypto.getRandomValues() for randomness. Each name has equal probability. We don't manipulate results. However, for legally regulated lotteries or large prizes, consult a lawyer — our tool provides randomness, not legal compliance.

4. Acceptable Use

Don't use the Service for anything illegal, to harass, or to collect others' personal data without consent. Don't try to hack, reverse-engineer, or overload the site. Don't use it to generate spam lists.

5. Intellectual Property

The design, code (excluding open web APIs), and text content on https://nameoffortune.com/ are owned by us. You may use the tool for personal and classroom use. You may not copy the site and rebrand it as your own, or scrape it to build a competing service with identical design.

6. Ads and Monetization

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Ad placement complies with AdSense policies: ads don't cover the wheel, don't appear in the winner modal, and are only in content-rich areas (after controls and after article). We don't place ads on screens without publisher content (like thank-you pages). We may add or remove ad units as we improve content.

7. User Content

Names you enter are your responsibility. Don't enter sensitive personal data (like full legal names of minors with last names if you have privacy concerns), hate speech, or illegal content. Since we don't store your names, we don't moderate them — but you are responsible for what you enter in your browser.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll update the date and, for major changes, show a notice on the homepage for 7 days. Continued use after changes means you accept new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Disputes will be handled in St. Catherine Parish courts.
