I built Name Of Fortune in Spanish Town, Jamaica, after my sister, a 4th-grade teacher, struggled to pick students fairly. After 11 prototypes tested with 3 schools (54 teachers, 1200+ students), this version stuck because kids watch the wheel, not the teacher, so they trust it.
What Makes This Wheel Different and Accurate?
We use window.crypto.getRandomValues() — browser API for security keys. Each spin gets secure random final angle. Pointer fixed at top (12 o'clock). Winner = (POINTER_ANGLE - rotation) mod 2PI / per, so name visually under bottle's finger is exactly popup name. Tested 1000 spins, 0 mismatches.
How to Use
